Armando Nava's Letter to Ray Brazen!

DEAR RAY,

Well you know my name .....Look up my number do do do do (THE BEATLES) It's so hard to explain the feeling and emotion of everything you wrote about my music, even if you had been the only one in the world that understood what we did in those albums especially the one you like the best (Smog), like you guys said it pay's off !!!!!!!

There is a lot of things I want to say, most of all give you all the information I can. This time I first one to get in touch with you, and I do care what's happening with my music (have no words to express this feeling). First of all DUG DUG'S it's a contraction of DURANGO DURANGO a city on the center of the republic of Mexico in which I was born and went to school.

The other, there is no such a TJ person and never was, the drummer at that time was with me for a short time, and was the only one that was from Tijuana which TJ stands for, so it's the reason he had it printed on the drums, he didn't even record with the DUG DUG'S on the albums (except for one or two singles and that clip in the movie EL MUNDO LOCO DE LOS JOVENES).

However, there is another Mexican movie that is also in video cassette called 5 DE CHOCOLATE Y UNO DE FRESA and there's one or two clips of the DUG DUG'S in which we are playing an instrumental song that I compose for that movie which is called PIEDRA DORADA. Besides others that I did the arrangments for the movie, by the way, there was a 45 released on the sound track on that movie, I don't have the record but I have the picture (portrait) that came with the record. There is a thought I wrote dedicated for all you fan's but specially for you. I hope you understand the meaning of it.

"feel like a little star, in which the universe had found it far, the feeling is bizarre, shining and sprinkling at the end of the world, making me feel alive and keep having faith for the human kind it's great, it's wonderful, such feeling can not describe, but I'll say this (I cried of happiness for a half an hour reading the DUG DUG'S page's), you beautiful people how are everywhere from england to new jersey, san diego and atlanta I thank you for listen, for reading for caring and search. this is what I am, a servant of the world who tries to give happiness by making my music for all you out there."

Is very nice to write this letter to you and hope to hear from you soon. I wish I had more time (and internet) to talk to you directly, somehow I'll get in touch with you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
